A FIRST...
Ever since we got Katie, I couldn't wait until her hair was long enough for a pony tail. Well, as you can see, she doesn't have alot of hair and what she does have is very, VERY fine.
I just love my cyber friend Kim's little girl, Miss Kate (see 3 Peanuts link). Her hair is so thick and she always is very fashionable with a bow to match her outfits. Katie will not keep a bow in her hair and even if should would, it would slide right out. I have been green with envy of all these China cuties with heads full of hair! Today I tried the pony tail. She didn't bother it for about 3 hours then she yanked it out. She reminds me of Pebbles from the Flintstones! We shall press on and continue trying to make this hair thing work.

I too am waiting to put my girl's hair up in a ponytail!! Hair so fine and not too long at this point! Now, my 6 year old has hair down to her waist. It's fine too, but boy can I do a LOT with waist length hair!!
Very cute ponytail!

Oh darn...bows are so adorable, but thin hair makes them very hard!! I too have very thin hair! However, I have bought a few bows for my little cousins and there are bows that you can get with different style clips...that just might hold in Ms. Katie's hair. I know there are pinch clips which have a tighter hold and they might work. You can get them on the Internet. Hope you give them a try! :)
Kim,
You are so funny! I think it looks cute. Kate's hair actually is thin too but she does have a lot. There are some clips called "no slippy clipie" try those. Also, someone recommended a shampoo for Kate that really has helped her hair. E-mail me if you want the name.
Kim
