America's Next Top Model!

I was SO excited to get a package in the mail today from here. My blogger friend Robin is sewing up a storm to raise money to adopt beautiful Mia Hope from China. She is one talented lady and has several items for sale on her site that are completely hand made by her. I'm sure she has worn out more than one sewing machine as she has gotten tons of orders. Can you see why?! Just look how cute these are! We got the Kimberley dress in the Carnival Bloom fabric and the Swing Top Jean Set in Chinese Kids fabric. Excellent quality and workmanship. We are thrilled and can't wait for Katie to wear these out! Katie did a good job of modeling. We sent her head shots to Tyra this week...(just kidding):)

A Year In THE Life

Can it really be that exactly one whole year has flown by? Looking back at the hundreds of photos from our China trip it just seems surreal. Katiebug is 2!

Katie is two years old today - I just can't believe it! We just missed her birthday last year when we traveled to China. Our family day was March 27th. These are pics from her birthday celebration at my preschool at our church. Needless to say she did not know what to think about everyone singing to her - that was when she was making the "not liking this" face in the first photo, even though we as a family sang to her in the morning and she loved it! The mini brownie cupcakes made it all a little better as chocolate and frosting have a way of doing :)

God Made The Flowers

This week in the mini preschool I run in our church the kids are learning about all the things God made. Katie's very talented teachers made this cute craft today and Katie is loving it although she isn't sure which is the "right" side to peek through!

 

 

 

Shuttle Launch at Night

Watch how the shuttle lights up the sky when it launches. This past week's launch was at 2:30 in the morning so it was pitch black outside. It truly is amazing! We are 40 miles from Cocoa Beach and the amount of light it puts out is awesome!

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance -- particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0 In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0. and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Dear Desperate:
First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter the command: "http: I Thought You Loved Me.htm" and try to download Tears 6.2, and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above applications can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources). Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly.
You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Hot Food 3.0 and Lingerie 7.7.
